Georgian House in Virginia
The model was proposed to allow the client to visualize the design by the architects. He requested a flythrough to show him what it would look like to drive up the driveway to the proposed house. We modeled an approximation of the existing large trees on the site, which were important to save.
The house was composed of two nearly identical halves, so modeling it was much simpler than many other projects. However a number of techniques were needed to manipulate the sections which were different. This along with the curved section, which had equally sized openings on the inside and outside curve was a challenge.
